This is a beautiful Beaverdale home with a small 10 x 10 kitchen that is typical to the area. Like many other homes in the neighborhood, the lot size is also restricted and yard space is at a premium. So, instead of building an addition, we have remodeled the existing space to maximize the function and practicality of the space. We also wanted to maintain the original feel and authenticity of the home for the period in which it was built, while upgrading the kitchen with modern conveniences. We achieved this by installing new custom cabinets, countertops, period-matching tile flooring, a redesigned electrical layout, added a new pantry in the hallway and relocated new appliances to capitalize on the useable space. It is now transformed into a beautiful and functional kitchen that delivers modern-day convenience without detracting from the historical splendor of the existing home.
