The Row House, built in 1880, was saved from impending demolition and moved to a new location for use as a single family dwelling. Rather than see an important part of our city's history destroyed, a couple of investors in Sherman Hill decided to have us move and preserve the structure.
There was a considerably high degree of difficulty in moving this building, but it was well worth the challenge. Our carpenters and sub-contractors spent a month securing the existing brick building and moving the entire structure a distance of three city blocks. After a very demanding and challenging move during the middle of winter, the Row House now successfully sits on a brand new foundation with both the exterior and interior renovated and remodeled into a beautiful and functional single family home.
