Builder Profile
Tyler Homes is owned and operated by James Harmeyer. Jim grew up in the construction industry and was familiar with many parts of the home building process prior to building his first home nearly 16 years ago.
Jim has continued to strive to improve his building knowledge and creative ideas. He obtained his Graduate Master Builder certification in 2003. He has participated in four prior HomeShowExpos, winning virtually every award given in the show. He was also voted Best Builder in Eastern Polk County in 2007. Tyler Homes has found a niche in custom-building luxury homes. Jim loves the challenge of creating a unique, yet warm, environment for every family for whom he builds.
