Shayla Hood grew up in an Iowa family immersed in the homebuilding business. She worked summers in the office of her grandparents’ successful homebuilding company. Her dad has owned and operated Stubbs and VanderPloeg Framing for almost 30 years and continues to be the exclusive framer for NeighborHood Homes.
Shayla focuses on building relationships with the home buyer. From picking out the lot and drawing the plans to deciding on decorating colors, Shayla researches and then assists the homeowner with the multitude of decisions involved in building a home.
All clients have direct access to Shayla and are encouraged to be in contact daily. She wants to make sure that she is available for any questions and that clients stay informed on the progress of their home.
Shayla has a passion for building homes, not just houses. Her goal is to make the environment of the home not only beautiful, but conducive to living and comfortable for all who enter. Shayla Hood truly enjoys building homes and feels very blessed to be a part of the HomeShowExpo.
