
The Developers' Council promotes responsible, quality and cost-effective land development practices by becoming knowledgeable about the issues and needs of the industry and aware of the concerns for economic, environmental, and community impacts. The Council offers educational seminars and monitors local planning and development issues through the HBA Government Affairs office. The Developers' Council is a board-based coalition of developers and businesses that subscribe to the basic objectives outlined below and work together to achieve common goals.
The Council's mission is to promote the development and redevelopment of residential, commercial and industrial land in the area in accordance with sound economic planning, land development and environmental policies. Our goals are to improve the climate for real estate development in Iowa, expand the education and knowledge of industry members and better the quality of real estate development work.
